Sideline Media & Content Creator Access
Photographers • Videographers • Content Creators
Falmouth Athletics welcomes photographers, videographers, and content creators at our home events. We are not looking to create barriers or charge for access. Our goal is simply to know who is working on or near our sidelines and to make sure everyone understands our game-day expectations.
How To Request Access:
Preferred: Email us before the game. Send a brief request to the Falmouth Athletics office with:
- Your name and, if applicable, organization/business/social media account
- The game you plan to attend
- Whether you will be taking photos, video, or creating social media content
- A cell phone number or email where we can reach you
Day-of requests are also welcome. If you have not contacted us in advance, please check in with the event staff or game administrator before entering the sideline/field area.
Game-Day Check-In
Approved media/content creators should check in upon arrival. You will receive a Falmouth Athletics media pass/lanyard for that event. Please wear it visibly while working in restricted areas and return it at the conclusion of the game.
Basic Sideline Guidelines
- Follow all directions from Falmouth Athletics staff, game administrators, officials, and security/event personnel.
- Remain in designated sideline or end-line areas and stay clear of team benches, coaching areas, officials, and active play. (Football LOS photography is OK, as long as the photographer is not in the way).
- Do not enter the playing surface unless specifically authorized.
- Do not interfere with the game, players, team operations, spectators, or emergency/medical personnel.
- Use good judgment when photographing or recording student-athletes, particularly during injuries or other sensitive situations.
- Access is for the approved individual only and may be adjusted or revoked if safety or game operations require it.
- Anyone on the sidelines or end-line areas accepts that they are in an active area that is subject to stray balls, etc. The party assumes their own risk.
Our Goal
We appreciate the people who help showcase Falmouth student-athletes and our athletic programs. This simple check-in process helps us maintain a safe, organized sideline while continuing to welcome those who are covering our teams.
